“I first learnt my love of building and crafting after watching my dad, work with timber to create homes with unique beauty and sophistication. We were fortunate to live in the beautiful surrounds of Tropical North Queensland and Dad passed his knowledge on to me from a very young age. Whether it was identifying the different types of timber and their uses, shaping spear guns or learning the old school methods, I have always loved working with my hands and see timber as the perfect medium to perfect my art”
North Queensland Timber Homes is a Magnetic Island based and family run business, which has been passed down through the generations and is now lead by Cameron, a North Queensland local with a continuing focus on skilled craftsmanship, trustworthy practices and a deep personal understanding of the Magnetic Island community and environment.
